If you want actual milsim your best bets are probably Arma 3 and Rising Storm 2. PUBG is a battle Royale game with shooting & movement mechanics that are realistic/similar to milsim.

I tried Squad, but I want the military experience without playing with anybody else (a co-op option is nice though). I've put many hours into Arma 3, but it's a bit on the old side now.
