The New York Knicks' odds of winning the NBA title have improved with the news of a major trade involving the Timberwolves' Karl-Anthony Towns.

After just one season with the Los Angeles Clippers, Russell Westbrook made a move to the Denver Nuggets this offseason. Before his time with the Clippers, Westbrook spent two years with LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers.

During training camp with the Nuggets, guard Russell Westbrook apparently threw shade at the Lakers for, in his mind, not using him correctly.

Michael Malone can’t get enough of Russ. The 10th-year Nuggets coach arrived at Ball Arena for work around 8 a.m. Saturday and found Russell Westbrook already in the gym, working out. Practice wasn’t starting until 11.

However, with PG moving to the Philadelphia 76ers and Kawhi’s availability for the start of the season still in question as he continues to recover from the knee issue that plagued him late last season, Mann will have an opportunity to show the Clippers what he can do with more freedom on offense.
