The US government plans to make more at-home Covid-19 tests available for free this month as the country heads into respiratory virus season with high levels of the coronavirus already circulating.

Free at-home COVID tests are available now to order online and have delivered to your door. Residents can request up to four free COVID-19 tests through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,

Through COVIDTests.gov, you can order up to four free COVID-19 tests per household, shipped at no cost to you. No payment or shipping fees are required. The tests are provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response.

Last week, I read that the U.S. government had resuscitated its pandemic-era initiative of flooding the country with free Covid tests. According to the Associated Press, the government will again provide families with as many as four tests “on the house,
