MANITOWOC – Jesse Vang has pleaded not guilty to the charges of causing a child's death through abuse and hiding the body.

A Manitowoc County judge bound Jesse Vang over for trial on charges of causing the 3-year-old boy's death during a preliminary hearing Nov. 6.

MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Jesse Vang was ordered to stand trial Wednesday after law enforcement testified as to how 3-year-old Elijah Vue was treated at Vang’s apartment. The caregiver charged in the boy’s death returned to court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing. Vang is set to be arraigned Nov. 18.

The boyfriend of Elijah Vue’s mother was back in court Monday, where he pleaded not guilty to charges in the 3-year-old boy’s death.Jesse Vang is charged in connection with the Elijah’s death following Elijah’s disappearance in Two Rivers in February.

Jesse Vang is scheduled to have an arraignment Monday on charges related to the death of Elijah Vue, 3. Vang was caring for Vue when he reporting the boy missing in February. The boy’s remains were found in September.

The boyfriend of Katrinia Baur, Jesse Vang, appeared in court on Monday in Manitowoc and pleaded not guilty to the charges he faces in connection to the death of Elijah Vue. 40-year-old Vang currently faces two felony charges and one misdemeanor charge including the Physical Abuse of a Child,
