A royal biographer has given an insight into King Charles ’s first hours as monarch after being told the news of the Queen’s death in a car.

Sarah Ferguson recently praised King Charles and the Princess of Wales for their openness about their cancer battles.

Ferguson was present at the royals' annual Christmas walk, a memorial service for King Constantine of Greece, and the Easter service, but has kept a low profile since, only making an appearance at Royal Ascot in the summer. Though she has had her own appointments, they've been separate from the royals.

Sarah Ferguson has been MIA from her royal duties, and King Charles is reportedly the one keeping her from the spotlight.

As the Royal Lodge dispute rumbles on with King Charles continuing to battle to evict his brother one royal may be being shunned from the spotlight as a result. Despite Sarah Ferguson making a surprise appearance at the royals' Christmas Day walkabout at Sandringham and attending the Easter service it is believed her appearances are becoming less and less frequent.
