The Gophers were hoping to bounce back after two losses last week against Washington and Oregon; two games which saw the collapse of the team's pillars of strong blocking and defense.

No. 2 Nebraska (25-1, 15-0 B1G), by their own admission, did not play their best volleyball match in a 25-12, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19 victory over No. 16 Minnesota (16-9, 9-6 B1G) Thursday night. Still, NU grabbed a 22nd consecutive victory and reclaimed $5 Bits of Broken Chair Trophy (normally a football trophy) from Minnesota for the first time since 2018.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — No. 2 Nebraska volleyball defeated No. 16 Minnesota in four sets Thursday night. The Huskers won 25-12, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19 at the Bob Devaney Center.

The No. 2 Nebraska volleyball team returns home for the first time since Oct. 26 to host the No. 16 Minnesota Golden Gophers on Thursday night. The Huskers enter with a 24-1 record overall and a 14-0 mark in the Big Ten.

Nebraska managed to pull out the win tonight against #16 Minnesota in a 4 set match, but they had their worst match since October 26th. They also dropped their first set since that Michigan match on 10/26.
