Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price sent out a statement Monday acknowledging the successful recall, saying the voters have spoken.

After holding out for nearly two weeks, recalled Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price conceded on Monday. Price was recalled by a significant majority of Alameda County voters. The Associated Press called the election in favor of the recall passing on the Friday following the election.

Already, a growing number of former Alameda County prosecutors have expressed interest in succeeding Price once she leaves office in the coming weeks.
