What Remains is Starfield’s Shattered Space first quest. In it, you’ll navigate a gravity-less Oracle and hunt for Sirak’s logs in chaos.

Once you own Shattered Space and download it, you can load up Starfield. The only in-game requirement to begin Shattered Space is to complete the game's first mission, One Small Step. This mission takes you to Jemison on New Atlantis in the Alpha Centauri system. You don't need to join Constellation to complete the mission.
