Russia's state-run new agency, Interfax, confirmed that Moscow has signed the first deal for importing the Sukhoi Su-57 fighter jet. However, Russia has not disclosed the name of the buyer country.

The long and troubled history of Russia's prized Su-57 fighter jet appeared to take another turn for the worse in recent days when what should have been an opportunity for the Kremlin to flex some military muscle turned into global ridicule and embarrassment.

Russia's Sukhoi Su-57 stealth fighter made a show at China’s International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, where Russian test pilot Sergey Bogdan praised its capabilities, calling it superior to any aircraft,

However, Chinese visitors at the exhibition praised China’s aircraft, the Chengdu J-20 and Shenyang J-35A. Bogdan highlighted the Su-57’s advantages in stability, manoeuvrability, and global prospects.
