Francis, Sasso cruise to Florida Supreme Court retentions
TALLAHASSEE - Florida Supreme Court Justices Renatha Francis and Meredith Sasso easily won merit-retention elections Tuesday, getting more than 60% of the vote. Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Francis to the Supreme Court in 2022, while Sasso was appointed in 2023.

Florida voters Tuesday night retained two justices of the state Supreme Court. Justice Renatha Francis drew slightly more than 63% support and Justice Meredith Sasso more than 62% on the simple question of whether they should continue to serve on the state’s highest court.
