Saoirse Ronan is opening up about the Greta Gerwig Chronicles of Narnia casting rumors. Following the massive success of 2023’s Barbie, it was announced that Gerwig had signed on to direct at least two films based on C.

Recently, several rumors claimed Saoirse Ronan landed a part in Greta Gerwig's upcoming reimagining of The Chronicles of Narnia. Although there was no official confirmation, the actress just settled the rumors.

Saoirse Ronan is ready to direct and is sharing the advice her frequent collaborator Greta Gerwig gave her about taking on the role. The 30-year-old actress - who stars in and produced the Sony Pictures Classics film The Outrun - said she has aspirations to take on more behind-the-camera roles after producing for the first time.

"[We] have the kind of relationship where I just sort of go to her and I say, 'So I'll be in this, just so you know,' " the actress quipped
