After facing a recent slump in sales for a number of its products, PepsiCo (PEP) is switching gears in an attempt to win back customers who are fed up with the company for engaging in a controversial practice in retail.

Frito-Lay’s parent company, PepsiCo, said it’s adding chips back to bags after an effort to cut prices wound up costing the company when consumers left Lay’s and Doritos on shelves. Inflation prompted the company to dial back the volume of its products,

PepsiCo says it will be adding more chips to some bags in a move designed to please consumers that have grown tired of "shrinkflation."

PepsiCo will put more chips in some Tostitos and Ruffles bags to bring back customers who are tired of higher prices with skimpier bags.
