Serena Williams' ex-coach Rennae Stubbs has made it clear to Coco Gauff that she would have nothing against working with her but she just needs to get that call from her agent.

Coco Gauff has been told that Serena Williams' former coach Rennae Stubbs "wouldn't say no" to working with the 20-year-old American after she parted ways with Brad Gilbert. However, the offer comes only weeks after Stubbs awkwardly criticised Gauff at the US Open while in front of Gilbert.

Coco Gauff has revealed she is “really excited” after confirming that Matt Daly has become her new coach. Gauff recently split with Brad Gilbert after a 14-month partnership during which she won the US Open in 2023,

Gauff was mentored by Gilbert for 14 months and he was part of her team when she won her maiden Grand Slam last year. In an emotional triumph, the 20-year-old lifted the US Open on home soil after several near-misses at major tournaments.
