U.S. Rep. Dan Newhouse held a narrow lead Tuesday over challenger Jerrod Sessler, as the two Republicans faced off in a mini-referendum on the endorsement power of Donald Trump and the ability of a non-MAGA Republican to survive in Trump’s Republican Party.

Dan Newhouse’s edge over Jerrod Sessler bumped up a bit Wednesday afternoon, but thousands of ballots in the 4th Congressional District in Central Washington remain to be counted.
