Following a historic 2024 NWSL Shield-winning regular season, the Pride secured their spot in the NWSL final following a 3-2 victory over the Kansas City Current on Sunday in front of an announced attendance of 14,524 at Inter&Co Stadium.

Haley McCutcheon, Barbra Banda and the legendary Marta scored for top-seeded Orlando, which was undefeated at home and lost just two games this season en route to the NWSL Shield.

For Washington Spirit, an NWSL final is familiar territory having won the competition on 2021 avenging ther 2016 loss. For the Orlando Pride, it’s a different story with Saturday’s final being the first time the Florida side have progressed so far in their short eight year history.
