Have you ever pictured Nick Saban in a Penn State Nittany Lions costume? Well, you no longer have to imagine because the former Alabama coach dressed up on College GameDay. Saban led the “We Are” chant for the Penn State fans ahead of Saturday’s showdown against Ohio State.

Remember the gruff Nick Saban who never enjoyed being in front of the media and rarely flashed a smile? Whatever happened to that guy? Less than a year after he retired from coaching, Saban is seemingly carefree and showing more of his fun side than ever.

The Penn State faithful gifted Nick Saban a belated birthday gift Saturday early during ESPN’s “College GameDay,” and the former Alabama coach responded by not only wearing the gift but leading the Nittany Lion fan base in a cheer. Saban, who turned 73 on Oct. 31, was serenaded with a rendition of “Happy Birthday.”
