Superstar Rajinikanth, who was recently admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, is expected to be discharged on Friday, as confirmed by the medical team attending to him. Rajinikanth was taken to Apollo Hospital earlier this week due to swelling in a blood vessel that connects to his heart.

Though the hospital had said that the actor would be discharged on Thursday, the doctors attending to him said he would be discharged on Friday
