Republican Jeff Hurd defeated Democratic challenger Adam Frisch and will represent Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District in the House, succeeding Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) after she switched districts.

Republican Jeff Hurd has won the U.S. House seat in Colorado that Rep. Lauren Boebert left. Hurd’s victory fulfills the congresswoman’s hope that her mid-election departure from the race would make it easier for a different Republican to retain the seat after she nearly lost it in 2022.

Incumbent Rep. Stephanie Luck, a Republican, handily won reelection in Colorado House District 60 Tuesday, defeating Kathryn Green, a Democrat, for the second time in back-to-back elections.
