After months of legal wrangling, lawsuits and a flood of commercials, Floridians have voted, and they harshed the state's buzz. The recreational marijuana amendment to make weed legal for adults failed after falling short of the 60% threshold required for approval.

While the proposal received 57% of the vote, it wasn't enough to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution and keeps Florida's six-week law in place.

Amendment 4, which seeks to enshrine abortion rights in the Florida constitution, has put a spotlight on the state's abortion laws.

Florida’s voters were asked whether the state’s constitution should say that “no law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.”

Abortion rights are on the ballot Tuesday in 10 states as voters continue to contend with the fallout of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
