Bronny James showed improvement with a 17-point game in the Lakers' final preseason outing. JJ Redick emphasized his growing maturity on both ends.

During the Los Angeles Lakers’ preseason game against the Phoenix Suns, LeBron and Bronny James became the first father/son duo to play together on an NBA team. The pair took the court together to start the second quarter — much to the delight of the crowd on hand at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California.

Bronny James joined the Lakers in June when he became the No. 55 overall pick in the NBA draft, as previously reported by the Deseret News. After recovering from cardiac arrest while training with USC, he played a single season with the school before entering the NBA.
