According to the manufacturer, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, the J-20S is the first and only model of a twin-seat stealth combat aircraft in the world. It is a variant of the J-20, China's first stealth fighter jet comparable to the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor.

While smaller than the J-20s, the J-35 fighter jets reportedly have more advanced stealth technology and avionics, and are equipped with various types of weapons, such as medium-r
