Shepeard has not collected any blood since Hurricane Helene hit the CSRA, but it has supplied more than 150 blood products to area hospitals. Hurricane Helene swept through causing devastation all across the CSRA and the southeast - damaging trees, power lines and hundreds of houses. The deaths span the CSRA, including Richmond, Aiken, Saluda, Washington, Columbia and McDuffie counties.
