The Republican supermajority returning to Tallahassee largely voted for Florida’s current six-week ban on most abortions. Only a handful of Republicans in office endorsed recreational marijuana.

Following the most expensive ballot measure battle in the nation, Amendment 3 fell short. With nearly all of the vote tallied, the amendment sits at 55.9% approval, more than 4% shy of what was needed for passage, according to Associated Press data.
