The election may be over, but Robinson’s lawsuit against CNN is moving forward, now with the network asking for the case to be heard in federal court.

Despite Election Day being in the past, the defamation case against CNN and a North Carolina resident filed by Republican candidate for governor Mark Robinson is still pending. A hearing had been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 18 to address Louis Love Money's motion to dismiss the case, but it will be postponed, Wake County Superior Court records show.
