Neighbors in one Mar Vista neighborhood have started banding together after repeated targets by burglars in recent weeks, many of which have been captured on home surveillance footage.

Some Mar Vista residents are fortifying their homes with cameras, barbed wire, alarms and even German Shepherds after counting at least seven burglaries within the past week. Neighbors recently came forward with security footage showing about three or four burglars strike time after time on the west side of Mar Vista.
