Max Verstappen is in a familiar position heading into the second running of the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix. The 27-year-old Dutch driver sits atop the point standings and is in prime position to win his fourth consecutive world title.

Formula One has no plans to add a sprint race to the Las Vegas Grand Prix schedule in the near future as officials remain “quite comfortable” keeping the format at other events.

F1 is coming back to the Las Vegas strip and race day preparations are underway. Barricades and race equipment are slowly taking over the iconic strip for on of the few city circuits in the F1 calendar.
