Sunday's NHRA Finals in Pomona were interrupted when a small plane crashed in the vicinity of In-N-Out Pomona Dragstrip, injuring four people and causing a lengthy delay while authorities responded to the incident.

With speeds over 300 miles per hour, accidents at drag racing’s highest level are only comparable to plane crashes. Fans saw that comparison firsthand when a single-engine Piper PA-32 crashed into an RV lot at Pomona Raceway during the NHRA Finals on Sunday.
