Astronauts walking on the moon as part of NASA's first human mission to the lunar South Pole will be wearing Prada, as part of a new venture unveiled on Wednesday.

Axiom Space announced on Wednesday, Oct. 16, that it has partnered with Prada to create the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit, which will be used for NASA’s Artemis III mission to explore the moon’s South Pole.

Luxury fashion house Prada and commercial space company Axiom Space have unveiled the designs for a spacesuit that will be worn on the moon as early as 2026.
