In a big relief to Coldplay fans, the British rock band on Saturday announced a second live show in Ahmedabad on Republic Day, January 26, moments after tickets to their January 25 concert at the Narendra Modi cricket stadium in the city were sold out within the first few minutes of opening at noon on Bookmyshow.

The tickets for Coldplay’s Mumbai concerts went live and left many disappointed as fans could not get through the long online queues that went up to around eight lakh on BookMyShow. Thereafter, another show in Ahmedabad was announced amid the controversy over the black marketing of tickets.
