Red Bull’s Liam Lawson replaces Daniel Ricciardo ahead of U.S. Grand Prix, will finish out the F1 season
Red Bull has confirmed that Liam Lawson will replace Daniel Ricciardo at RB for the rest of the season, with six grands prix and three sprint races remaining. “Everyone here at VCARB would like to thank Daniel for his hard work across the last two seasons with us.
Liam Lawson to replace Daniel Ricciardo at RB for rest of Formula One season
Red Bull-owned RB dropped Daniel Ricciardo on Thursday and drafted in New Zealander Liam Lawson as the Australian’s replacement to the end of the Formula One season. Lawson, 22, has been Red Bull reserve since 2022 and filled in for 35-year-old Ricciardo at five races last year when the eight-times grand prix winner was injured.
