BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla defended the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur by saying that it was a ‘heritage’ ground and it was the first time that days were lost during a Test match due to rain.

Rajiv Shukla, the BCCI vice president, on Monday said that the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association, of which he is a member, is in talks with the state government to upgrade the condition of Green Park in Kanpur, which is hosting the ongoing Test match between India and Bangladesh.
