The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer-involved incident on Friday in the Riverside neighborhood.

A service dog was shot by a JSO officer during a response to an armed dispute in Riverside, in which the dog bit an officer.

Police said the juvenile suffered a gunshot wound to the leg on Arlington Road and the incident resulted from two groups arguing in a parking lot.
