A Powerball ticket sold in Texas won $250,000 but just missed the $134 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched four winning numbers, the Powerball and the Power Play in the drawing Saturday, Nov. 16, the Texas Lottery site said.

If you want to increase your chances of winning, you can add a “Power Play” for $1 which increases the winnings for all non-jackpot prizes. This addition can multiply winnings by 2X , 3X, 4X , 5X, or 10X.

The cost is $2 per ticket, but you can add the Power Play for $1, which will increase the amount of your potential prize up to five times the original prize (except for the jackpot and Match 5). There is also a 10x Power Play possibility when the jackpot is less than $150 million.
